Resume

Kerstin Lange, born 1983 in Hamm, Germany, studied Biochemical Engineering at the Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering at the TU Dortmund University from 2003 to 2010. During her Diploma thesis at the Laboratory of Chemical Biotechnology she focused on the process development for the oxyfunctionalization of fatty acid methyl ester using whole cells.

In September 2010 Kerstin started her PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Chemical Biotechnology in the Natural Products Biotechnology group. She is a stipendiary of the CLIB 2021 cluster funded by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of North Rhine-Westphalia. In her thesis she focuses on the biocatalyst design for the production of cannabinoids in a microbial host.
